Bukayo Saka has agreed a new five-year contract with Arsenal that will make him one of the highest-paid players in the club’s history. The deal, which runs until 2031, is expected to increase Saka’s earnings to more than £15m a season, reflecting his status as a central figure in the team. Arsenal’s sporting director Andrea Berta prioritised securing the England international’s future after renewing several key contracts last year. Saka, a Hale End academy graduate, had previously stated his desire to win trophies with Arsenal and has been in strong form as the club built a six-point lead at the top of the Premier League. Manager Mikel Arteta has repeatedly highlighted Saka’s importance and commitment to the club. Arsenal are also considering improved terms for Declan Rice, while monitoring a potential summer move for Marc Guéhi.
